Tamiya 48215 1/35 Japan Ground Self Defense Force Type 10 Tank

This is a 1/35 scale R/C model kit recreating the Type 10 tank and its 120mm smoothbore gun in style. Two mini motors and gears are installed in the hull rear, and are controlled by the included R/C system, which allows a range of speeds and turning circles, even pivots. The included 2.4GHz R/C unit utilizes a dedicated transmitter and MC-07 receiver/motor control unit. 3 marking options are included in the kit.

About the Model
Officially announced in 2010, the Type 10 is the fourth generation main battle tank serving the Japan Ground Self Defense Force. It is equipped with a domestically-developed smoothbore 120mm main gun and features such as an automatic targeting system. Modular armor on the turret and hull provides top level protection, and can also be removed to allow transportation on trailers and the like. Delivery to units commenced in 2012 and the Type 10 is envisaged to replace the long-serving Type 74.
